lyrics
All Hail the Crimson King.
His madness has run free,
darkness’ reign felt throughout the land.
Eyes burn bright red with ire,
total destruction, his sole desire.
Across the desert, fled the man in black.
The gunslinger followed, close at his back.
Relentless, unbowed. Knight of old, standing proud.
For Gilead, and the Eld, the white, the rose.
The white will rise and smite the Crimson King.
Eternity outside of everything.
Threw his wrath at all creation,
to break the beams and feed the breakers.
Obsession becomes a cage,
imprisoned near and yet so far.
Ka will play it’s wicked game, the wheel still turns
the world moves on.
Nexus in time. Ka’s wheel will grind.
The balance of existence, held by one, ka-tet’s persistence.
Ghosts drift by, left to die, go then
there are other worlds than these
Across the desert, fled the man in black.

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
